Start Feeling Better
Most patients report meaningful shifts in mood, calm, or clarity within the first week of treatment.
Individual results vary. Most patients report noticeable improvements within 1–14 days.
If any of this sounds like you, you’re in the right place.
- Your mind won’t quiet down at night — even when your body is exhausted.
- You’ve been on a benzo for years and you can’t figure out how to stop.
- Your heart races when there’s nothing actually wrong.
- Social situations leave you drained for days afterward.
- Two or more SSRIs/SNRIs haven’t moved the needle — or worked, then stopped.
- You’re functional on the outside but on high alert every single day.
Ketamine works on a different system than your antidepressant or benzo.
It targets the brain’s glutamate system, not serotonin or GABA. That means a calmer baseline without sedation, without dependence, and without waiting six weeks for an SSRI to “kick in.”
Six Reasons Anxiety Patients Choose NutraBrain
Most at-home ketamine programs are built for scale. NutraBrain is built for outcomes.
Calmer in Days, Not Months
SSRIs take 4–6 weeks. Benzos work but build dependence. Most NutraBrain patients report a quieter mind within 1–14 days — without the trade-offs.
A Pioneer, Not a Platform
Treated personally by Dr. Mahjoubi — one of the first doctors in America to prescribe at-home ketamine. Not a rotating clinician. Not a chatbot.
The Only Oxytocin + Ketamine Formula in America
Our exclusive nasal spray combines ketamine with oxytocin — patients describe it as a game-changer for emotional connection and softening social-anxiety walls.
Built Around Your Brain, Not a Template
Five delivery formats. Sessions or daily microdosing. Your protocol is built for your specific anxiety profile — GAD, panic, social, or mixed.
First Prescription On Us
Your first 30-day supply is covered. Try the protocol, meet Dr. Mahjoubi, experience the difference — before committing.
Simple, Respectful Refills

What ketamine therapy looks like for anxiety patients
Most NutraBrain anxiety patients move through a similar arc.
Days 1–3
A Quieter Mind
Most patients report falling asleep easier, fewer racing thoughts, and a softer edge on situations that used to trigger panic.
Weeks 2–4
Lower Baseline Anxiety
A measurable drop in everyday anxiety. Panic spikes become less frequent and less intense. Many patients begin tapering benzos under their psychiatrist’s supervision.
Months 2–6
Maintenance, Then Often Off
Most patients move to a maintenance schedule — fewer doses, longer intervals. Some discontinue ketamine entirely once their nervous system stabilizes.

5 Stars“I am so grateful for Dr. Mahjoubi & his amazing staff. He is so accommodating & most of all incredibly kind. I have received great benefits from this wonderful medicine. Ketamine has been the best form of pain, anxiety, & depression support towards my healing process from being exposed to mold & due to that I now suffer from systemic candidiasis. I would strongly reccomend you go see Dr. Mahjoubi if you're considering this safe & effective therapy. Thank you so much! :)“Chelsea T.Yelp
5 Stars“Seeing Dr. Mahjoubi has been one of the most rewarding experiences. I have seen many physicians, and Dr. Mahjoubi is one of the most kind, caring, knowledgable and empathetic listeners. He truly cares, and really wants to help. He really tries to think outside the box. Besides helping with my chronic pain, he has also helped with my anxiety, and when I've had more severe episodes of pain he and his staff have worked hard to try to get me in as soon as possible. He truly wants the best for his patients. I can't thank Dr. Mahjoubi enough for everything, and would highly recommend them!“Allie G.

Common questions from anxiety patients
-
Yes — this is one of the most common reasons patients come to NutraBrain. Ketamine works on the brain's glutamate system rather than GABA (where benzos act), so it doesn't replace one dependency with another. Many of our patients taper off benzos over weeks to months under Dr. Mahjoubi's coordination with their psychiatrist. Do not stop a benzo cold turkey — withdrawal can be dangerous. Any taper should be supervised.
-
At the sub-anesthetic doses NutraBrain prescribes, most patients describe a brief sense of detachment or floating during dosing that resolves within 30–90 minutes. Many patients actually find this part calming, not unsettling. For anxious patients, we often start at lower doses and build slowly so you stay in control.
-
Ketamine is studied across the anxiety spectrum — generalized anxiety, panic disorder, social anxiety, and treatment-resistant mixed presentations. Dr. Mahjoubi will tailor the protocol based on whether your symptoms are baseline-elevated (GAD), spike-driven (panic), or situational (social). The same medication, very different dosing strategies.
-
SSRIs and SNRIs work on serotonin/norepinephrine and typically take 4–8 weeks to reach therapeutic effect. Ketamine works on glutamate and BDNF (brain-derived neurotrophic factor) — most patients feel a shift within 1–14 days. Ketamine is often used alongside an SSRI/SNRI initially; many patients eventually taper down or off SSRIs once their nervous system stabilizes.
-
Yes, when prescribed by a physician and used at therapeutic doses. NutraBrain's nasal spray, troche, and RDT formulations are all at sub-anesthetic doses. You'll be screened for contraindications (active psychosis, uncontrolled substance use disorder, certain cardiac conditions) during your consult.
-
Mild dizziness, nausea, or short dissociation during dosing are the most common. These resolve quickly. Severe side effects are rare at the doses NutraBrain prescribes.
-
At prescribed therapeutic doses, the addiction risk is low. Unlike benzos or opioids, ketamine doesn't produce physical withdrawal. NutraBrain's dosing protocol is specifically designed to avoid tolerance and dependence — and notably is the opposite trajectory of most anxiety medications, which build dependence over time.
-
NutraBrain is cash-pay. Most patients find the $69/mo membership + ketamine cost is significantly less than their psychiatry + medication out-of-pocket. We provide a superbill you can submit to your insurance for possible out-of-network reimbursement.
-
If you're in immediate crisis or having thoughts of self-harm, call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline). Ketamine therapy is a longer-term treatment, not a rescue medication — it's not the right tool for an acute panic episode. Dr. Mahjoubi can discuss appropriate options during your consult.
Don't spend another year on edge.
Most patients start feeling calmer within days of their first dose. Only 48 new patient spots are accepted per month nationwide.
No contracts. First month covered. Prescription delivered to your door in every state NutraBrain serves.
Important Medical Disclosure: Dr. David Mahjoubi, MD’s official recommendation is for patients to see a psychiatrist first and for an adequate amount of time to assess response to traditional methods that combat anxiety, depression, and PTSD. Dr. Mahjoubi further recommends ongoing involvement of a psychiatrist during ketamine therapy, as he is not a psychiatrist. Tapering of benzodiazepines or any psychiatric medication should only be done under the supervision of the prescribing physician — abrupt discontinuation of benzodiazepines can be medically dangerous. Individual results vary. This comparison is intended for informational purposes only and does not constitute medical advice.
