In every state where NutraBrain™ operates, ketamine is a legal Schedule III controlled substance that may be prescribed off-label by a licensed physician for appropriate psychiatric and pain indications. Each prescription is filled by a state-licensed compounding pharmacy and shipped to you in compliance with federal and state pharmacy law.

Once Dr. Mahjoubi approves your treatment plan and your prescription is sent to the compounding pharmacy, most patients receive their medication within 2–4 business days. California patients often receive shipments in 1–3 days because of in-state pharmacy proximity. Tracking is provided when your order ships.

If you move permanently to a state where NutraBrain™ is licensed, your care continues uninterrupted. If you move to a state we do not yet serve, we will help you transition or hold your records until we expand to your new state. For short-term travel within the U.S., your existing prescription remains valid; just notify us in advance if you need shipment to a temporary address.

NutraBrain™ operates as a fee-for-service telehealth program and is not in-network with insurance plans. Many patients submit superbills for partial out-of-network reimbursement. Compounded ketamine prescriptions are typically not covered by insurance regardless of provider, but our flat-fee program is generally less expensive than 3–6 months of in-clinic IV ketamine infusions.
